Blues finally lose & it looks like domination by Winnipeg. They outshot the Blues 26-15.

A great run by St. Louis. If I was them, I'd be extremely happy with WC1. Pacific Division is an easier match-up than Central. Vegas is not as good as Winnipeg, Dallas or Colorado. They just play in an awful Division.
Agreed playing the Pacific is easier but Minnesota has a game in hand and they hold the tie breaker vs St Louis. Both teams have easy schedules remaining against teams not in the playoffs.

Hate to say this as a Habs fan but Kucherov might just be better than Lafleur at this point. Having a longer peak scoring at a higher pace. They're built so similarly to the 70's dynasty where Kuch has zero defensive responsibilities and Point is the unsung hero like Lemaire. Hedman to Robinson, Vas to Dryden. Stamkos was the Shutt. Sergachev the Lapointe. McDonagh the Savard. Except not as good obviously Habs clear them basically everywhere but I am willing to admit Kuch is closing in on Guy.
You can say that Kucherov is better than Lafleur as soon as we see him with his helmetless hair flowing, before sitting on the bench and taking a deep drag of a cigarette. Then we’d be comparing apples with apples lol!

Lafleur’s peak is incredible. 6 straight 50/100 seasons. Only Gretz and Bossy have done that. And Lafleur was an absolute beast in the playoffs.

Protas makes Ovi looks like a manlet what a monster :slaugh:

He's out for round one, great news if the Habs face the Caps.

Compher is my favorite Red Wings player!

I'm sure at 1909% that Compher is also your favorite Red Wings player!

he will be fired asap after the season lost the room

He's probably got the vibe already from management and thats why hes speaking that way.

Well that's a coach who's getting fired soon
What a mess in Manhatten.

I've never liked Laviolette but he had the carpet pulled from under him when NYR brass traded their captain and shopped other veterans so publicly. It was a bizarre tactic and the players seemed to quit from that point on. Chris Drury and James Dolan are both train wrecks.

I'm so glad they fired Gorton so that we could snag him.
