wish he was a hab
He was the forward I wanted, more than Michkov. But I'm real happy with Reinbacher. What he will bring is different than Leonard and Mickov, but also very vital.

I was a pro Leonard too, let's hope Reinbacher can be that 1st RD we desperately need.He was the forward I wanted, more than Michkov. But I'm real happy with Reinbacher. What he will bring is different than Leonard and Mickov, but also very vital.
If he does in NHL what he's already doing the AHL (which I think is highly likely), we're all going to be happy about the pick.I was a pro Leonard too, let's hope Reinbacher can be that 1st RD we desperately need.

so he sucks then?Disappeared in every big game BC had.

Naturally there will never be a citation or reference because this is an outrageous lie -- which implies impropriety that would get Philly in a lot of trouble --- that's been repeated by people who were incidentally dead-set against drafting Michkov.
Obsessed with being right, this guy never stops lying to push his agenda.

Michkov and Philly will of course never admit this, if true…Naturally there will never be a citation or reference because this is an outrageous lie -- which implies impropriety that would get Philly in a lot of trouble --- that's been repeated by people who were incidentally dead-set against drafting Michkov.

Was he? And what does it matter what he thinks?Elliotte Friedmann was dead set against drafting Michkov ? Why ?
Michkov had no ability to chose where/when he was drafted. I’m not particularly sorry if this irrefutable fact gets in the way of the narrative some of you try to build. His own agent confirmed Michkov didn't want to be drafted at least by Arizona and Washington.
Easy to think the list was bigger than that.
This isn't dissimilar to what Jagr did to land in Pittsburgh.
No idea why you think actions by Michkov would land Philly in trouble.
I don’t want to relitigate the draft at all. I’m looking forward to Reino’s contribution to this roster — with Demidov coming and Laine here we are in good shape.Michkov and Philly will of course never admit this, if true…
I am not sure about him perhaps trying to make his way to Philly specifically, but we can probably make a fairly decent guess that he did NOT want to play in Arizona.
He definitely wasn’t going to Chicago, Anaheim or Columbus because there were other options. I’d guess SJS probably considered him and would guess he would had been ok with it but they chose Will Smith.
From Michkov’s perspective, that left Montreal, Arizona and Philly as probable destinations.
But again, nobody is going to spill the beans here. Philly won’t, Michkov won’t. I don’t think Montreal or Utah can really say anything since they didn’t draft him anyways.
However, it has been reported. I suppose the most credible was Elliot Friedman on the 32T pod, and some smaller shows though I suspect some were Montreal biased.
However, never mind about what Michkov may or may not have wanted because it was pretty much written in the tea leaves weeks before the draft that we were not drafting Michkov and likely Reinbacher. I know a lot of reports were swirling around weeks out and even a few here. I specifically recall @WeThreeKings mentioning this. I’m sure there were others but while I was disappointed initially on draft day, I wasn’t surprised at all.
Michkov was playing in the KHL and still under contract for 3 more years of course he could of told teams not to draft him all he had to say was i will stay in Russia doubt Arizona was gonna risk a top 10 pick on thatMichkov had no ability to chose where/when he was drafted. I’m not particularly sorry if this irrefutable fact gets in the way of the narrative some of you try to build.
Even if he didn’t want to be picked by Team A or Team B, it wasn’t his call.
That’s all fine and well but choice (and risk) was Arizona’s not Michkov’s. The player cannot choose where he was drafted — I shouldn’t need to remind you all that WeThreeKings lies about Michkov every chance there is.Michkov was playing in the KHL and still under contract for 3 more years of course he could of told teams not to draft him all he had to say was i will stay in Russia doubt Arizona was gonna risk a top 10 pick on that
Michkov would of been drafted by Arizona if it wasnt for him threatening them so yes he kinda chose where he was going he gets drafted by Philly and out of nowhere his 3 year contract with SKA disappears? i could careless about him but yes im sure he scared away some teams to choose where he gets draftedThat’s all fine and well but choice (and risk) was Arizona’s not Michkov’s. They can say it and the team can draft them anyway. Russian players especially do not have any method to transfer over if their unassigned rights are held by the team that drafted them.Michkov would of been drafted by Arizona if it wasnt for him threatening them so yes he kinda chose where he was going he gets drafted by Philly and out of nowhere his 3 year contract with SKA disappears? i could careless about him but yes im sure he scared away some teams to choose where he gets drafted
Its different when its a young player in the CHL but players in Russia or NCAA can definitely tell teams not to draft them even if it happens rarely

Where does that say Arizona would have drafted him otherwise? 6 teams didn’t draft him
- Michkov's Agent's Statement:
Sergei Fedotov, who represents Michkov, said the 18-year-old didn't want to be drafted by either the Capitals or the Coyotes.
- Implied Reason for Not Wanting to be Drafted:
While the agent didn't specify the exact reasons, it's implied that Michkov had personal preferences regarding where he wanted to play.
Well that obviously no one will ever prove it but imo Arizona picks Michkov whos clearly the BPA and future forward superstar they are lacking for their team and specially fans over SimashevWhere does that say Arizona would have drafted him otherwise? 6 teams didn’t draft him

But your post is a lot of words to repeat what I said: WeThreeKings is lying, as usual, about Michkov.
There we go. Thank you. WeThreeKings should try not lying as much.Well that obviously no one will ever prove it
