Xenforo Cloud is doing server maintenance Thurdsay 13th at 9 AM GMT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. Server changes were implemented recently to cope with the traffic surge last week. This seems to be affecting the user login, so please anyone experiencing this, log out and clear the browser cache. We expect to have this issue solved once the maintenance is complete.

Whoever gets them will be a better team. It will come down to goaltending. Ullmark was crap in the playoffs for Boston although didn;t the Bruins managed to get the flu in that series.

Never understood the trade Cozens vs Norris. Norris is always injured. He signed his contract and then, The moment when he broke his shoulder. He never be the same. To me Norris was negative value. Cozens made 68 pts at 21 years old. He was a bargain that I would have tried

I think Minnesota calls themselves the state of hockey.
In terms of high school hockey and stuff, Minnesota is probably the state where it's the biggest deal.
They had 20k people show up for a high school championship game the other night. A state record, I think?

Protas has 58 points in 65 games despite only having 4:33 minutes of PP time all season. That's absurd.

How do you get a 6'6" 30 goal-scoring center in the 3rd round? Man, what a gem. Freak season or breakout season - only time will tell.

His skating has improved so much. We need that kind of steal. We got one with Hutson, but it would be nice to get one in front too, after the first round.
Crazy that he's 6'6, 225, and has only 18pim... And that's the most he's had in a season pretty much ever lol ...
Roy, Davidson, Rohrer & FloX all compare pretty favorably to Protas as far as later picks with similarly positive pro progressions since being drafted (2-4 yrs behind Protas), will be interesting to see if any of them are able to really push into NHL regular, let alone impact roles, the way he did in his D6 season
