Nah. Dach has had injury issues but I’d take him any day. He’s going to have far more of an impact for us than Romanov would - if he can just stay healthy.

Pretty good night if we're going for it. Plus having all the bottom teams of the East catch up a bit means if we need to pivot to tanking it would be a bit easier.

He looked amazing in Carolina early on and then cooled way off.
Have to see how he does the rest of the way and then see if he's a disappointment in the playoffs like normal.
And then if the Canes do well/extend Rantanen, or if they don't do well AND he walks.

Yeah I was saying how risky it would be to take on EP40 and it turns out he’s still crocked. I’m always big on adding NHL talent at any cost but EP40 probably scared me the most.
Some of the things said about JT Miller’s behaviour — dropping the F slur a lot, throwing tablets, generally aggressiveness — make it clear he was not in the right spot so I think the Canucks 1) didn’t have any market for EP40 and 2) only wanted to move Miller in the first place.

These players like EP, Rantanen, Laine etc. They're great and all... But they need to be in the right context for their potential to be exploited at full capacity.
Habs struggle to exit their own end...do we really wanna bring one of those fwds so he's going to look like overpaid dogshit?
