Disagree
Tortorella wants michkov to play sustainable nhl level hockey

When you’re the last man back and do a fly by in the defensive zone in game 50 which is a 0-0 game you’re still not getting it.

Rotenberg for all intents and purposes appeared to be benching demidov for non hockey reasons

Philly is not a contender like the Habs, you let the youth play and make mistake. There is no need to bench them and work on it during practice. I would be livid if MSL benched Hutson because he commits mistakes.

Hutson makes plenty of mistakes
I very rarely see him make low effort careless plays however

The two players are nothing alike

Too far in either direction is no good. The Habs have been criticised for having little accountability and little structure.

Classless Briere removed Frost from the line-up mid game.

Wonder if he'll get the same flak that Gauthier got at the time for Cammalleri?

I haven't seen anyone mention it while reading comments about the trade so...looks like he won't until social media decide that he should, if ever.

Feel like Frost is going to make them they that trade.

Briere is already getting torched for the deal on social media.

the deal is bad enough people will forget the mid-game pull

Gauthier took so much grief lol -- as if that season wasn't DoA anyway.

Yeah, can't say I've been all that impressed with Briere so far. He definitely won't be high on my list of potential french speaking GM candidates the next time we'll be looking for one, although that should be some years down the road and Briere might have improved by then.

Yeah, it looks very bad for Philly.

I guess they REALLY needed to get out of that Farabee deal and REALLY needed that 2028 7th.

Bad for our Habs, Flames get better in the short term and Flyers, worst.

It's a pretty bad nonsensical deal. I kinda like Pelletier but he's small and doesn't have Caufield's skills. I mean Kuzmenko will turn 29 in a few days let's just say he's worth a 3rd round pick. That's Pelletier, 2nd, 3rd and 7th for Forst and Farabee this is pretty bad imo. Looks like a trade that was made cause the coach asked for those players to be out of the team or the players themselevs asked for a trade. Doesn't look like a trade that was made for the value of the assets returned.

What is Brière doing ? Fire Trots before it's too late...
When they just stopped playing against the Habs at the end of last season, I was like « he lost the room, he’s done »

Can’t believe he’s still there lol

Imo It’s kind of obvious that Torts may have more power/pull in the organization than Brière … and/or may have made Brière his b-word

Can we just be grateful everyday for the Habs not hiring Brière :thumbu: (he obviously don’t have a Gorton in Philly tho and I think Darche was more likely, but still grateful lol)

So Frost going to CGY probably means they aren't looking at Evans, or never really looked at Evans. Disappointing. :(

Otoh: I think they suck more out of this trade.. :)

Oof, Cooley down to injury, I guess that'll happen to softer small players.

No question Farabee is not having a great year, and he makes $5m. He's still on for 40+ pts after getting 50 pts last season, including 20+ goals. He's also only 24, which means he can also still get better.

With news at how much the cap is going up, Farabee's contract is even less of an issue.

Calgary has obviously decided to push for the playoffs. It's only them and Vancouver in the mix and Vancouver is a walking disaster.

This is literally just a dump of mid 6 players from Philadelphia.

Also, with Frost gone, they have like 2 centers on their team.

Why not to have a dinosaur coach. Frost has underachieved the board’s expectations but Farabee had good stats for his draft year last time I looked.

It’s one thing to tank, it’s another to give up on young guys.
