Yup, they do. I was operating on the feeling that they were automatic for a spot, but it is not a foregone conclusion.
The 25 games seem unlikely if you ask me, Allen isn’t all that hot when he gets a heavy workload. We have witnessed that here.

Del bel belluz is doing well. I still think he's the better player between than Beck. He's got a lot more gifted offensively.

They're very different, it's still hard to tell at this point IMO. Beck is a much better skater and 2way player, but DBB does have a superior offensive toolbox. I'd say Beck's floor is a bit higher but if DBB hits he's a top 6 player pretty easy.
Yeah, I get what hockey scouts see in Beck (just wins cups), and it's far from over. Beck could turn out to be the better player. But I think DBB was better at the time, and has the inside track now.

Always thought Beck was a far more complete and valuable player. Like Guenther and Neighbours. Guenther made Neighbours look better.

We don't know yet. He was on a bad junior team. Hasn't had a lot of games in the minors. if he hasn't developed by the end of next season he likely won't.

He's just never been that good. Who knows, sometimes players develop out of the blue, but that's what'll have to happen in his case.
There is no need for excuses. it doesn't matter if he doesn't turn out. No one should give care. Some picks won't turn out but HuGo have made mostly great choices.
