Out of Town Thread - New Year’s 2025 Edition

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Speaking of golf we have a new leader for the green jacket, Connor Bedard.

A Tuesday night with 10 games on the NHL schedule and Sportsnet as golf on all 4 of their regional channels during prime time. Yeah golf is just what Canadians want to watch instead of hockey down the stretch of the NHL schedule Rogers. Bunch of ass clowns..

Not even golf, but some sort of AI version that they play in Tiger’s garage.

Or something

Go Philly go

Philadelphia has spent the last part of this season tanking. They've been beyond awful.

At minimum, they're finishing with the 4th OA pick (before lottery), and may end at #3. Currently, they're #5.

Buffalo (#4) is one point back with 3 games in hand, while Nashville (#3) is 3 pts back with 2 games in hand.

It's very likely Buffalo passes Flyers. Nashville maybe.

Flyers probably draft Hagens.

How much better it would have been for Philly if they had taken Makar? Making the right choice in draft is crucial. Colorado likely don't have a Cup also.

They've certainly made something interesting draft choices. While Michkov was a pretty obvious selection, taking Bonk one spot before Perreault was certainly a choice.

I guess we'll see how that one turns out.

Cam York before Caufield, and Nolan Patrick before Heiskanen & Makar is a big hurt for sure. They missed on elite talent.

Provorov was a decent pick, but the next 3 picks were Werenski, Meier & Rantanen.
