Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Sens offense has dried up big time. They've been shut-out 4 times in the last 10 games.
They're being propped up by the play of their rookie goalie Merilainen. That blew up tonight.
They are playing better defensively as a team, though
But still, Stutzle only has 7 pts in his last 15 games.
Since getting a hattrick against Anaheim December 11th, Batherson only has 2 goals over a span of 19 games.
And, yeah, this is the 8th consecutive game where Tkachuk had no points. He has 5 pts in his last 15 games with only 2 goals.

The Senators are not going anywhere with Brady Tkachuk as captain. I think he is a fine player but not a great leader.
...well...as a Habs fan, I like that he's leading the Sens...cuz I'm a Habs fan...
Dean Letourneau is having a really rough time in the NCAA. Overdrafted, and playing a league above where he should be. Even the jump from USHL to NCAA is a lot for most kids, and I think he would've been merely okay at the USHL level.

Giroux has 2 goals in like a month.
1 of those goals was into an empty net.
Batherson is also struggling.
But they've been winning more than losing.
Makes me wonder if they're just their best players starting to produce and take a next step.
Or they crash back down.
They play Boston Thursday and that game should be goooooooood

Missing sometime at the end of the season last year didn't help, either.
I wonder if he goes to the CHL for a year and goes back later.
Yes, since they are allowed to do almost whatever by the Refs, but act like angry victims when you touch them.
CHL would probably be too much for him. He should be in the BCHL or USHL. He's just not very good at hockey yet and took on the best non pro league. Dumb idea IMHO.

Columbus and Boston both have back to backs starting today.
Columbus has tough one going to Toronto today and then Carolina tommorow.
Boston has new jersey today today who is struggling and a big one tommorow in their rematch with Ottawa
Whatever happens there, Montreal will pass Tampa with a win against Detroit tommorow. Even if that is temporary, it is unreal to be saying that today.

B. Tkuckut, is a POS whiny-ass dick almost always, but especially when his team's losing. Refs should have let Shesterkin rearrange his face. And honestly, Rempe could stand to learn a thing or two about fighting.

Straightforward night, hoping for Devils over Bruins, Laffs over Jackets, and Kings over Panthers. All in regulation of course
...hmmm...on the one hand, a Laff win against the Jackets helps us out in the Standings...on the other hand, I would hope for the Red freakin' Army over the Laffs...so...**** the Laffs...
