HF Habs: Out of Town Thread: 2025 Playoff edition

McDavid also played through a torn abdomen or something wild and it caught up to him in game 7.

I can’t find the angle but in the celebration after his goal last night to go up 4-2, there was this intensity in his face that really showed this man is on a mission.
You're talking about this I think lol
Stood out to me too

Deboer did this was Vegas in 2021 when he had Fleury and Lehner. This is worse as Otter is clearly their guy. He gets caught trying to be the smartest guy in the room and it blows up in his face. He should’ve just called a time out. Instead he throws his starter under the bus in the most important game of the season.
He’s an ass and I have no clue why he still has a job.

As a whole, possibly, but when you take combo's that played together, which is what my post was very obviously about, we aren't.
Nah. I’ll take our history over anyone’s. Yeah it’s cool that the Oilers have gotten those guys but we still have by far the best history. Even with the past stretch of futility.

Again, I'm not talking about the entire history of the respective teams. I'm not sure why it's so difficult to understand but I guess I"m not explaining it properly. Anyways....we'll move on.

Looks like the Cup will finalky come back to Canada. Ngl... I was hoping the Habs would be the 1st team to bring the cup back home since they last did it in 93.

Oh well! Wonder if McDavid re-signs with EDM if we wins the cup this year, or tried his luck elsewhere now that he got his cup in Edmonton?

Ive been really impressed with the Panthers ability to endure 3 straight playoffs with 3 straight finals... something we haven't seen in over 40 years (not including the covid period).

Hats off to them, but this just feels like mcdrai's year. Barring a skinner collapse and a mcdrai injury, I dont see a recipe where Florida will come out know top.

Florida knows how to win but you can also see edmonton's commitment to detail all over the ice as a collective unit in this playoff. They are playing the right way, and they are ready to graduate.
