HF Habs: Out of Town Thread: 2025 Playoff edition

Hes around 40th for most playoff points now and hes the only player with less than 100 games played. If he continue his pace he will finish in the top 5 at least

He's 72 points away from passing Anderson at #4.

He has 68 in his last two playoff runs and this ones isn't even finished. He might reach the top 5 by the time he's 30 years old.

He was on his way to the MVP before the game 3 (I think) in Vancouver. McDavid was somewhat slacking and Drai was in full Dr. Drai mode.

Edmonton went to 7 games last year with a broken Draisaitl. He looks healthy and ready to go this year. I could see this being like Detroit-Pittsburgh 15 years ago.

McDavid also played through a torn abdomen or something wild and it caught up to him in game 7.

I can’t find the angle but in the celebration after his goal last night to go up 4-2, there was this intensity in his face that really showed this man is on a mission.

My take here is that Edm started late last time in a 3-0 deficit, bringing the series to a 7 but this year, they will start right away with a hunger not seen for ages (I feel poetic this morning). Edm in 5.
