HF Habs: Out of Town Thread: 2025 Playoff edition

I think Florida's depth got better. Luostarinen especially looks like a monster and that 4th line is just impossible to contain. I think Oilers depth is just rallying for McDavid and I'm not sure how effective that will be against a team that doesn't give up the chances that Dallas Stars team has done.

Hyman loss is also massive.

There are two things I find stand out about Edmonton this year though. McDavids all around game has been out of this world, with Draisaitl healthy. Both of them look like they're all business this year. The other thing is Edmontons defense. Its better than last year, everyone is playing better. Whereas Tkachuk hasn't been the same since his injury. I felt Edmonton outplayed them most games last year.

Edmonton went to 7 games last year with a broken Draisaitl. He looks healthy and ready to go this year. I could see this being like Detroit-Pittsburgh 15 years ago.
That's the thing yeah
Man people forget but Draisatl was DYING out there last year
It really was tough to watch, he was laboring out there and still producing tho lol it was nuts

But people were literally like WHOA what's wrong with Draisaitl is he finished??
They just didn't know he was severely banged up
This year he looks great, it's gonna be different for sure
At least me and Edmonton hope so

Yeah, Draisaitl looked like he could barely skate. They said he had a broken rib and hand, but he looked like he had a groin or hip tear too.

Personally I'm not a fan of how these days guys hug each other instead of just shaking each other's hands. They are the enemy, shaking hands is fine as far as sportsmanship. But these guys seems like they are gonna all go the same restaurent after the game.

I thought it was mostly Bob letting them down in that series. Oilers were automatic on the counters.
