I was watching Kasperi play in the AHL against Laval live and the guy was CLEARLY too good for the AHL. While he somehow lost his offensive touch, he found a way to be a role player.

I agree.
Get control wear down the players on the ice a bit before going to the well.
Edmonton are fast and aggressive all over the ice some of that edge has to come off or it's likely a fail.
