Are they complete though? After Morrissey and Pionk, their defenders are average. Their 2nd line centre is Namestnikov.

I just can’t fathom a team with those big holes go and spend assets to get Brandon Tanev and Luke Schenn, hoping for a long run.

Yeah, they should have done more at the deadline. But every year we discover guys, especially on D, that do look average but play huge role. I personnally would have room on my team for Samberg and Demelo for sure. Up front, they probably thought Perfetti was readier to take the next step...,he was not.

I like that pionk too. It's a pretty good roster with some names that don't get enough attention.

Yeah, just a 23-year old d-man that had 47 and 53 points in the past 2 seasons, close to PPG in this playoffs and is really reliable defensively.

If Reinbacher ever becomes that...it will be a huge win.

I did. Hes a rat and dirty but I dont recall seeing him try to decapitate a player that was completely defenseless then claim it was a hockey play. Also unsure Perry was ever shunned by international teams for his personality.

Scheifele does look criminally insane. If I remember well he was photoshopped in a straight jacket. If not, it will happen in the future. But unless I get a medical report that he’s certifiably nuts, I’d not completely shut the door if he was available.

Some u mfers forgetting the scheifele hit just because the outcome wasn't that bad. It was worse than the bertuzzi on Moore garbage because Evans wasn't a rat refusing to answer the bell. Evans did nothing and was assaulted completely away from the play by a guy who charged the entire length of the ice for the sole intention of hurting someone.

People laugh about call the cops and everything but what scheifele did was not in the context of sport whatsoever aside from happening on the ice.

Rip his dad tho. Maybe he wasn't a psychopath like his son. Could have inherited it maternally.

Dallas vs Edmonton I think Oilers get by them again unless Skinner really shits the bed & Pickard still can't go.

Dallas definitely has the goaltending advantage, but their forwards aren't getting it done up front. D is a bit soft too. I think McDavid, Drasaitl, Kane, Hyman et al will ride them hard.

I expect Oilers to win the Cup.

He comes out of Nebraska of all places.

I don't care much about the Oilers, but I would like to see McDavid win the cup. He nearly pulled off the impossible last year, I hope he finishes the job this year. It would be a shame to see such a talent wasted by the incompetence of Edmonton's GMs.​

As a result they had 0 depth in these playoffs.
