HF Habs: Out of Town Thread: 2025 Playoff edition

No,
I would not.
I give a shit about his production when you're a bad person and your bad decisions put your team in trouble I.E. tonight I.E. vs the Habs in '21

How can you call him a bad person after one event? Could've just not typed anything. Classless.

How does one go from a Vezina/Hart level to becoming a pumpkin as soon as the PO begins?
Hes not a Vezina and certainly not a Hart level goaltender. You dont. Nerves dont make you lose all your technique and skills.

Hes a system goaltender, a good one, yes, but not the "great" the league has marketed him to be.

Him, Vasi, Bob, theyre all the same. Good goaltenders that crumble without a system. Sorokin is the best goaltender in this league.

Winnipeg just seems like the best team to not win in the playoffs. They just seem so complete. Though Helle isn't Helle in the playoffs. Ehlers isn't what he should be. But they are big. Talented. But then losing Morrissey just hurt so much for them.

Islanders are the most defensive team in the NHL. Without that Sorokin is nothing.

Are they complete though? After Morrissey and Pionk, their defenders are average. Their 2nd line centre is Namestnikov.

I just can’t fathom a team with those big holes go and spend assets to get Brandon Tanev and Luke Schenn, hoping for a long run.

Bad people have fathers too

I'm supposed to change my view and opinion on him because a bad seed lost his possibly decent father?
The f*** does that have to do with Sheifele himself being a piece of shit?

All water under the bridge I guess?
Guess it doesn't matter because Evans didn't 'die' I guess?
Just a hockey play am I right?

Anyway luckily grand scheme I do not care what you think lol
They lost
He lost
All is well

Now we need the Leafs to f***ing lose as well

Losing a morrissey is always hard to overcome, but especially against a team as fast and as deep as Dallas.
They played their hearts out and deserved better .

I have so much respect for the Jets. Every player has them on their no-trade list and no good free agents will ever sign there. The fact they continue to be one of the top teams in the league is insane.

It was a series between two cup contenders and this series could have gone either way. One had to lose.

The eternal knock on them is Hellebuick has an insurmountable psychological block on the road that he can’t shake. But he certainly was not responsible for the loss tonight. He kept them in the game.

He was fighting tonight but you could tell he was off again.

On the other end, oettinger was making it look easier than it is. Calm, collected and in control.

At the end of the day, that's what the series came down to.

So will Oilers beat Dallas again and do a redo from last season?
Going to be tough without Mattias Ekholm. I also feel guys like Broberg, Ryan McLeod and Dylan Holloway were coming into their own last year in that series and none of them are there anymore.

The great .900 equalizer.

Get real Hellebuyck sucks and hes the reason for all this. Id be livid if hes back next year as a Jets fan. Hes their Matheson.
