I played a lot of team sports and some of the nicest people I met off the ice/field were some of the most miserable so and so's when playing the games. It's the competitor in them, the will to win. Some nasty comes in handy during the playoffs.

Morrissey limps off and needs help to get to dressing room. His own fault. That was a slew foot on Rantanen. He got injured when Rantanen fell back onto him. That should have been a PP for Dallas. Schenn also gets away with a trip.

A really good game. Western Conference games have been so much better than Eastern Conference ones. Fast & hard.

The Toronto-Florida series has been mostly boring as shit.

If Morrisey heard the pop in his knee, he knows it's bad. I do remember Ovie going knee on knee tearing Sergei Gonchar's knee in the 2009? playoffs. Gonchar came back and played with a brace. Wouldn't be surprised though if Morrisey is done for a while.

I know many of us dislike Mark Schiefele for the hit on Jake Evans but I really feel for him right now. He lost his dad 24 hours ago and is playing tonight. Sad and difficult for sure.

Reminds me of Brett Favre’s big game under the same circumstances … which I attended in Oakland.

I know many of us dislike Mark Schiefele for the hit on Jake Evans but I really feel for him right now. He lost his dad 24 hours ago and is playing tonight. Sad and difficult for sure.

I think everyone's rooting for him/the Jets tonight and honestly even regardless of his father I think the Evans thing was so long ago and since Evans is fine and better than ever like Pacioretty after the Chara hit that I consider bygones to by bygones
