He really does. There simply isn't enough compete in him, especially for a guy who's a big body. He's always losing board battles and does his best to not engage physically. He was awful. Worse player on the ice for Leafs.

Essentially, when series toughen up, Matthews, Marner & Tavares all disappear, and there isn't enough talent behind them to eke out wins. With Pacioretty, Nylander & Knies coming in hot, it looked like this year it wouldn't matter. But, they all sucked tonight too.

Leafs gets 2 days off to get themselves together. Game 5 isn't til Wednesday.

We'll see what happens. It's gut check time for that team again.

He's also so overrated defensively. You can see that many Leafs fans don't follow the rest of the league. Even after another embarrassing showing some are claiming he's the best two way center in the league. They're saying while seeing him play against the best two way center in the league.

Well, they tried to trade him for Rantanen & and even asked Marner if he'd accept a trade to Carolina. Marner said no. He has an NMC. If he walks this summer..... Damn, Leafs could have had Rantanen.

Makes me think Marner is bound to leave.

Florida ties the series 2-2 with a 2-0 win. Brutal game by Leafs overall. Marner was probably their best player because he's a great pker & is so good defensively.

The game would have been a blow out without Woll. BobCat was strong too.

I watched 3rd period, really enjoyed watching Leafs lose. Bennett is good money player. Combined with watching the 4 nations. He's the center Habs should pursue this summer. Even overpay where we don't have to give up any assets and have the extra caproom. Bennett has great will to win along with the skill. Good for our young players

I went to a Habs/Oilers game in the early 2000’s in Edmonton. We had seats next to the Habs tunnel. The Oilers scored in OT and Jose Theodore smashed his stick over the crossbar and broke it. I tried to make a deal with security to give the broken stick to a younger cousin that was with me but they were worried we would get jumped for it as we were leaving. Its always fascinated me with the amount of valuable things players give to fans nowadays, even at the beginning of games that they don’t get stalked by crazy fans. Or at least I haven’t personally heard of any incidents.

1. I don't know many Leafs fans, and the ones I do know, they are respectful and do not hate on the Habs.
2. I don't follow Sportsnet or TSN. I listen to French media, whether RDS or BPM Sports. Forced to digest TVA Sports.
3. Rather root for the underdog or teams that haven't won the Cup in the previous years.

Having said that, I understand where you people come from.

You can go to a hockey game in Columbus to watch them play versus the Islanders and you are guaranteed to see a person at the game wearing a Leafs jersey. That sums up Leafs fans. It’s always about them and it’s nauseating. That’s why people want them to lose.

Petrovic played 6 NHL regular games in the last 6 years and here he is playing regular shift in the playoffs on the 3rd pairing with Bichsel forming a big physical duo while Montreal barely played their physical dmen and played Matheson more than they should.
Therefor, easily out in 5!

We have a 2nd line like Dallas. God i did not know i'ill watch games better next season.
