Leafs are only behind Winnipeg as far as PP opportunities go, but behind Carolina, Winnipeg & Vegas for PP time. The reason for the difference is a 2 minute, 4 minute & 5 minute PP are all treated as one opportunity.

They have the lowest pk time of all the teams.

Essentially, Toronto gets 3 PPs/per game, while getting 2 PKs/per game.

Yes. In the previous 2 games, Florida was losing going into the 3rd period. The only period they weren't down was after period 1 of game 2. It was tied 1-1.

Yeah good luck getting a PP here in the 3rd Florida, especially if the score stays the same as it currently is. The Leafs will very likely get one if still trailing by 1 with about 5 minutes left though I'd imagine.
