HF Habs: Out of Town Thread: 2025 Playoff edition

And a broken-down, aged Pacioretty continues his strong play. Another player whom we disparaged constantly for no reason whatsoever - the reason we can't have good things (he said, likely hypocritically given how I speak of Slafkovksy).

We had good reason. He always played like a bitch in the playoffs for us.

After all this political garbage this year, I want an all Canadian final.

From that logic, why even watch the NHL? It's far more of an American product than a Canadian one.

If that's the concern, might as well stick to the CFL, CBL and other made in Canada sports leagues, no?

Good god, I wish that we had drafted Knies. Everything that we could dream of Slafkovsky becoming in terms of style of play that allows him to elevate his game in the playoffs. Stud.

Edit: Autocorrect does not like Knies.

Knies is a stud.

But Slaf will eventually get there. This is Knies' third playoffs and it's his coming out party. Slaf just played in his first career playoff series. It's not like Knies was like this right from his first playoff series.

What are you talking about, Slafkovsky will be as good if not better than Knies. Why always trying to put him down.

They have different playstyles, but in 3-4 years Slafkovsky will reach his potential which I believe will be higher than Knies. Just give him some time. Knies will be 23 years old this October, while Slafkosky just turned 21.

And given that it was his first playoffs, Slafkovksy did play what I would deem the best hockey of his career.

I hate Marchand and Bennett more than all the Leafs combined. The little rat has done more damage to the Habs in the last ten years than Toronto has in my lifetime.

One team is a miserable failure that hasn't been relevant save in the minds of its media members and fans for around fifty years.

The other is a collection of terrible human beings that won the cup last year.
😂 :thumbu:
