HF Habs: Out of Town Thread: 2025 Playoff edition

Thanks for confirming that you are just a Habs fan... not a real hockey fan !

These playoffs has been fantastic for me ngl. Just enjoy the show as it is and don't get involved emotionally with any teams. You'll enjoy it way more.
Only worth watching NHL games to cheer for or against teams. Minors, junior and college to watch prospects.

It doesn't help their arena is dead. I mean even in the last minute with the Leafs defending a one goal lead, it's not that loud.

And, that outdoor area where they have like 100 people watching is lame. There's huge outdoor viewing crowds in Montreal, Edmonton & Winnipeg. Meanwhile, Toronto has a little beer garden. Lol
Man downtown Montreal was completely clogged off for the first two home games. Imagine we got to the second round. This team would have blown the roof off this city. Beer garden lol

Felt like a regular season game.

Genuinely happy for Pacioretty, played great on a great contract as a Hab and turned into Suzuki. Even if there were some bumpy moments especially at the end, dude has comeback from a broken neck and multiple torn achilles. Beast.
Hey simply wasn't meant to be THE guy and I thought he was a pretty weak captain. But he was/is a very good player and I'm enjoying seeing him do well

No that's totally fair, although he did have a decent stretch of being a top 5 goal scorer in the league. Now that scoring is backup those 39 and 37 goal seasons don't look as good but yep he was a very good, never great player and a really poor choice for captain

Being able to come back from a couple of mediocre seasons and find ways to produce in the playoff so late in his career is pretty rare.
