Really one of the worst offseasons I've ever seen. I'm so pissed at their management. McDavid is a historic playoff performer. He's scoring at a 146 point pace in the last three playoffs. 95 points in 53 games is completely bonkers. And Draisaitl is right up there with him. They've had to do so, so little.

He's now at 104 in his last 57 games. Pacing 150/82 (149.6). Haven't checked, but I'm betting only Lemieux and Gretzky have done better in the playoffs on over that many consecutive games.

He's less than 80 points away from the all-time top 4 in playoff points. With how he's been pacing in the last few years, he'll probably get there before he's 32. If he has a long career with many more playoffs he might become only the 2nd player with 300 playoff points. He's 174 away.

He needs to get outta dodge for the sake of his legacy.

IDK. Something’s off with them. They have so much talent and every year it’s the same story, the team has a mental breakdown. That group has such a fragile psyche. Is this the year they can overcome this?
