Sorry guys, I've been told quite a few times this year by non HFHabs posters that I don't watch the league, so what I meant to say was that it's 2-0 Carolina according to the box score and I wonder what happened ??

Those Jersey fans are like a bunch of people listening to a classical concert....no life there at all

I mean NJ depth is not great by any stretch of the imagination. They tried to jump start their rebuild like Detroit and while it doesn't look nearly as bad as Detroit they are still one injury away to JH from a disaster every season. They have good young defense men but i would not be surprised if they piss that away to jump start the rebuild even more.

My message to KH is don't try to jump start the rebuild. Fix the holes only when it's clear it not going to be fixed by a kid. Get a 2nd line center on a 2-3 years contract without paying too much. Get a steady cheap RHD on a 2-3 years contract (younger Savard) but let some room for DR, Demidov and a couple of depth kids. Don't trade all the picks away. Yes it will means two more years or wobbling around but it will be worth it long term.

After his injury ordeals ill never root against him. I wanted the Habs to pick him up over summer actually (before Laine was acquired).
For whatever reason our fan base completely turned on him after he was traded. Despite him playing through tons of stuff and being proud to play here and getting us Nick Suzuki in the return.

I'd still take him back in the bottom six for a season.
