Been watching Tavares closely these playoffs to see if he's "still got it", and he does.

If he's available to be signed as a UFA in July, we should go hard after him on a shorter-term deal.

Tavares would be just such a nice player to have centering a second-line with Demidov and someone like Dach for size, some talent, and speed on the other wing.

I'm kind of split on this game. Of course the best possible outcome is a reverse sweep on the leafs. But realistically even if Ottawa wins this game, they're probably losing the series. So if that's the case, I'd rather the sens just get swept so we can at least meme their fans into oblivion whenever they start to talk shit
