It's crazy all the ducks dmen who leave the team and then instantly become better.5 points for Fowler.
It's funny when they signed Stolarz last summer i posted that they finally got a quality backup for the young Woll and some posters were like no Stolarz is crap lolI get it’s fun to bag on the Leafs, but those fuggers are legit this year. Solid goaltending and defence and whatever Berube is feeding them, they are eating it up.
Granted, Ottawa are young and inexperienced so I can’t say I’m too surprised. We should definitely be able to relate.
Yes i agree another mistake was after signing Tavares to not trade one of Nylander or Marner for a dman. That was a very obvious move to do. Trade one of Nylander or Marner for a dman and extend Hyman. In hindsight, yeah it was a terrible move.
I can see where they were coming from though. A superstar says he wants to play for you and you give up no assets to get him? Hard to say no.
Stolarz is a good number 2.Come on guys. Stolarz is dog crap.

Ducks fans gave me shit for calling that a steal when the trade first broke.5 points for Fowler.
Buchnevich with the hattrick
One of the most lopsided trades in NHL history. Rangers, take a bow.

St-Louis got 2 top pairing dmen and a top 6 power forward without giving up a 1st round pick, and then you got Dvorak, Dach and Newhook.Ducks fans gave me shit for calling that a steal when the trade first broke.
Fowler had literally two months of poor play after 14 years of consistency and they threw in the towel. Then he still got back to his career average in points by the end of the year.
Not sure how you expect a player like that to buy in when you've missed the playoffs 8 years in a row.
Watched the TNT feed of Vegas Minnesota, same style but what they both have in common is they have a much lower sound of the play on the ice compared to Canadian broadcast. I'd much rather hear the game on the ice than a bunch of windbags calling the game. If an option to only hear the on ice play and no commentary existed, I'd be down for that.
Too bad it's not an option. Most broadcast are not like they used to be. So much trivia and banter with not even calling the PBP often. From my experience, the worst is Mudryk with Corrarado with their endless stories,so distracting, I'll take RDS over them anytime.SRC had that setup in the 2002 playoffs because of a labour dispute.
I loved it. It kind of felt like being at the game.
I would have offer sheeted Holloway too but most of this board would have shit on it. (Only 9 points for a second round what the hell!) I wouldn't call Broberg or Fowler top pairing D, but top 4 sure. Parayko and Faulk play the most minutes on the Blues. Unfortunately LD isn't what we need. They also stole Buchnevich a few years ago, but can't really complain since Drury and Gorton won't trade with each other.St-Louis got 2 top pairing dmen and a top 6 power forward without giving up a 1st round pick, and then you got Dvorak, Dach and Newhook.
