They’ll have to get more than 1 or 2 shots in the 3rd period though… Leafs have completely shut down in every game. 1st shot in game 2 gets deflected and ties the game. In game 3 Ottawa didn’t get a shot until there was like 8 mins left and Stolarz should’ve had it. Other than that they are completely shut down in the 3rd period. This series is over. Toronto is just the better/deeper team

Minni slowed down at the end of the season because of injuries (including Kaprizov). Injured people are healed (it seems) and fresh for the playoffs.

I get it’s fun to bag on the Leafs, but those fuggers are legit this year. Solid goaltending and defence and whatever Berube is feeding them, they are eating it up.

Granted, Ottawa are young and inexperienced so I can’t say I’m too surprised. We should definitely be able to relate.
