Agree. Wife might want him to return there. They need a complete overhaul. Might not be bad for us in short term to get an ally in Long Island.

It's quite possible, he seems to always be on the short list whenever a new GM spot opens up. He might not be all that interested though, unless as you said, there are some family reasons. The Isles job isn't all that sexy per se, they need a complete rebuild right now, so a young up and comer GM is more likely IMO. This might finally be the right opportunity for Mathieu Darche.
