Domination complète. Cats need to wake up, because Bob won’t be able to sustain this. Oilers are impressive. The two headed monster on the Oilers is what Crosby-Malkin looked like in their Cup years. Dominant.

They're really dialed in. They were early in training camp, which made their start surprising. But ever since their run, theyve been playing playoff type hockey ever since.

Man this is going to be a great series.

Seriously though, how does one draft someone like Draisaitl 3rd ? We got guys like Galchenyuk and Kotkaniemi there.
The Oilers also rushed him as an 18 year old and called him up from the AHL after he had a bad stint. When we do that, we've apparently ruined the player beyond repair and it's entirely on the bad development.

We’ll see. This Oilers team has speed that the Cats didn’t face much in the East. Speed and this two headed monster.
Yup I said it when they were beating the Rags. Edmonton's puck retrieval will be light years ahead of The New York Rangers.
Now they just have to solve Bob-Rob-Sky he of no goals between the legs because players aren't going there when they should be.
Both breakaways showed daylight between the legs with the right move.
Sure take him wide but slide that puck hard back through the five hole the minute Bobrovsky starts to his leg stretch.

Florida getting away with a lot of blatant interference. It's more noticeable against a faster Edmonton team.

It's insane how Edmonton has been able to limit shots against since the Vancouver series. Allowing 4 shots against against a team like Florida is beyond impressive.

A great strategy when you have a goalie like Skinner in net.
Too bad he couldn't make the Big Save at the outset.

Tale of the tape on tonight's lineups (averages):

Edm: 6.02.25 ht 204.5 wt 29 age
Fla: 6.01.95 ht 200.25 wt 28.95 age

Only one player in the game tonight under 6' (Evan Rodrigues 5'11)

Oilers were impressive in the first.

Rodrigues gives the Panthers a 2-0 lead, as he was left wide open in the slot. Why are Nurse and Ceci a pair again they were on the ice for both goals.

That was a terrific read by Bobrovsky on the slot chance. Really aggressive.

Skinner shit per usual. Kane not paying attention either. Ceci gets beat to the puck.

2-0 Florida on 5 shots. Lol

Man, bad Oilers change leads to a 4 on 2 by Florida. Huge block by Broberg. Skinner makes a save since he isn't required to move.
