I think when we hear him praise Matthews everyone jumps to the conclusion that he loves the Leafs and is biased, but it’s not the case.

Not to me. I hear him saying crazy homer stuff against the habs when I watch English. If you ignore the nice thing he said about price, he would say a lot of bs about why the refs didn't call this against the habs, complain about our players. Has always seemed to be way worse than Harry Neal for the habs.
