All this talk about the Leafs being better off without Matthews is nonsense. The Bruins can't even handle the puck or convert a pass and Toronto still hasn't scored. Leafs might be up by two goals with Matthews.
For sure, they'd be leading with Matthews. Especially on that putrid PP.

All that time in the offensive zone and no goals to show for it.

It will be interesting to see how Woll plays once he faces some pressure. That's tough for a young goalie to be so inactive throughout half the game.

They're not better off, but they've played better since he's been out. I think they would have played better regardless, but that's what people are saying.

The longer this game goes being tied the less chance the refs will call a Leafs penalty to give that lethal B's PP a chance to take the lead vs a weak Leafs PK.
