It's probably be a controversial take but i think Nylander has been their best player in playoffs the last few season.

BYW I'm looking at the schedule for tonight and i'm wondering if Utah is a hockey club? I'm confused it's not clear.
He certainly has been their most consistent IMO.

Mattias Maccelli is soooo good
Picked up on his smarts at the WJHC shit wasn't happening for Finland unless he was involved.
Nobody was really talking about him at the time.

I don't think it's controversial at all. If their core guys perform the way Nylander does in the playoffs, they wouldn't still be stuck at the start line.

Signing a 28 yo forward that never reached 30 pts to a 6 years contract is the most Bergevinesque move a GM could do. I don't understand.
Lots of holes in that lineup. Also he was on pace for more than that last year, 25 in 57. 2.5M isn’t going to hurt you much, as long as you don’t do it to your whole bottom 6 but I am pretty sure Colorado mostly play 9 forwards.

He is apparently their best defensive forward so if he doesn't throw his body around with abandon he should be good for the length of the contract. And if he can put up 35-40 pts along with that he will be worth it.
He is a really good player, one of the best bottom 6 forwards in the league. Contending teams have players like Logan O'Connor whereas teams like the Habs have not synchrony on their bottom 2 lines which thankfully is being addressed.

He's great, but 11 is way too steep considering he's the king of secondary assists, leeching off McDrai, and isn't great defensively.
Bouchard benefits from playing with those two but if you've watched him play leeching isn't the right term. Hes very good offensively in his own right. Hope they settle in the 9.5-10m range.

Bouchard and Ekholm were damn solid defensively last year too. Not sure where that idea comes from.
