Looks slightly better than last year actually. That leafs D looks rough this year. If Woll/Stolarz aren't a good tandem they'll be in tough.
Reilly - Tanev
McCabe - Liljegren
OEL - Benoit

Swayman will be 26 in November. Once they move Ullmark Sweeney had no leverage. He shouldn't take less than 8 milDude has never played more than 45 games in a season and is talking about resetting the goalie market like he’s Price/Lundvqist/Borbrovsky/Shesterkin. Apparently asking for around 9.5M?
Sadly for us and thankfully for Boston Sweeney is not the guy to pay you before you prove yourself.
The only thing worse than their D is their LW situation. Yikes.Looks slightly better than last year actually.
That's why they are looking at signing Pacioretty...The only thing worse than their D is their LW situation. Yikes.
As per Dreger, it looks like a done deal lol. That's why they are looking at signing Pacioretty...
Teams had the entire summer to offersheet him, but, yes, they had to get it done first to prevent it.
Why? The guy is cooked and injury prone.Would’ve been nice if he returned to the Habs tbh.
I agree. That contract to Tanev will age like fine unpasturized milk but for a year or maybe two he'll be an upgrade.Looks slightly better than last year actually.
And it will still be weak after signing him…. Has been!!!That's why they are looking at signing Pacioretty...
He'll stay home this year if he wants 8 millions imo. Nobody will give it to him.Swayman will be 26 in November. Once they move Ullmark Sweeney had no leverage. He shouldn't take less than 8 mil
And nobody have the cap to give it to him. Well nobody looking for a goalie where he probably wants to be (aka not a rebuild). He'll stay home this year if he wants 8 millions imo. Nobody will give it to him.
He had a horrible ankle injury that got re-injured. Sure. I don’t think he’s cooked, he’s just a depth player now. I don’t particularly love him either but it would’ve been nice to see him back in Montreal. Why? The guy is cooked and injury prone.
4 goals in 47 games as a sniper is cooked. Not to mention that his time as a captain wasn’t exactly good. He was getting grilled and rightfully so.He had a horrible ankle injury that got re-injured. We celebrated getting a truly cooked Ilya Kovalchuk for a few weeks. I think our most recent former captain as a depth player could be fine too.
He’s a two-way player and he was coming back from a horrific ankle injury that got hurt again and set back. Those stats numbers out of context are mostly irrelevant.4 goals in 47 games as a sniper is cooked. Not to mention that his time as a captain wasn’t exactly good. He was getting grilled and rightfully so.
Does Presti build homes in Toronto??4 goals in 47 games as a sniper is cooked. Not to mention that his time as a captain wasn’t exactly good. He was getting grilled and rightfully so.
He will fit in seamlessly with the other Leafs playoffs warriors...Pacioretty AKA The Playoffs Warrior.
