Tanev’a become one of the most overrated players in the last 6 months and it’s probably going to lead to an inflated contract.

There will be a ton of hype around this move but don’t believe it, he’s a #4-5 at best.

At least Weber was able to soldier his way through the playoffs. With tanev, he get hurt often and it includes getting hurt when you need him most in recent years.

I had the pleasure to watch tanev alot. He was very good and is still good, but what good is it if hes just not durable?

I’m just guessing but James Mirtle tweeted out they are signing him long, long term. I’m guessing it’s 7-8 years

It isn't going to be like the Weber deal where is starts off at $14 million and drops to $1 million. There is a maximum percentage the salary can drop throughout the contract

Yup, they got a quality 2nd pair D in Moser & a top center prospect in Geekie, who brings size & physical play. Tampa Bay has an outstanding development team, so Geekie should mature nicely for them.
