Ouuf... the Bruins are in big troubles methink
Career high 25 wins LMFAO.
Career high 25 wins LMFAO.
He needs to show he can give Boston about 40 wins as a true #1 before he gets the money he wants.
They correctly evaluated him as someone to pick later. How mean.Apparently Habs, Leafs and Avs are the 3 teams in on Zadina PTO
Still waiting for those Bell Centre nets to get filled.......
The year we took KK, I remember majority on draft board wanted Zadina as our pick. Hughes signed Andersson maybe he takes look at Zadina?Apparently Habs, Leafs and Avs are the 3 teams in on Zadina PTO
He's not wrong. If he learnt well, he'll sign a big up front loaded contract.
Not what I expected from a 25-year-old. The kid's got smarts and sounds more like an agent than a pro athlete. Lol... good luck with Korpisalo as your starting goalie, Boston.
So many things can happen career/injury wise and he's mostly been a journeyman up to now, so I definitely get why he doesn't want to mess this one up. For all he knows, it might be the only chance at a big money contract he'll get.
The bruins play a goalie friendly game and he's been playing a 2 goalie situation ... if he's asking for 10 million a year that's just complete bonkers to me
He won't get 10M$ but he has all the leverage to negociate with Ullmark gone. Great for him and let's hope he screws the Bruins with a big contract for which he won't deliver! The bruins play a goalie friendly game and he's been in a 1 ... if he's asking for 10 million a year that's just complete bonkers to me
100% bruins shot then selves in the foot. He seems pretty business oriented and doesn't look like he'll be giving them discount lol.He won't get 10M$ but he has all the leverage to negociate with Ullmark gone. Sure, why not.
Bruins can match they have 8 millions of cap space. Don't think anyone would offer him more than 6 he's unproven as a number 1 with a bad backup. He has only three seasons of experience as a number 1B/1A.What would be funny is if a team offer sheet Swayman. Unlikely considering what he is asking, but still.... lol

Agreed, but that would piss them off. Imagine someone made an offer KK-style (6M/1 yr). They would match but then they would be in a similar situation next yearBruins can match they have 8 millions of cap space. Dunno 1y 6 millions might not be as bad as you think for the Bruins. They have the cap space this year. They don't have any significant contract to sign next summer outside of Marchant but Marchant will 37 so very unlikely to be greedy and ask for a major raise. So that would be their only significant contract to sign to a player in his prime. This is the last year of Mike Reilly buyout so that will bive tham 1,3 millions more cap space next year along with any increase of the cap. This would give them one year to evaluate Swayman as a real number 1 before making a decision and they will have around 16 to 18 millions of cap space to sign Marchand and Swayman.Agreed, but that would piss them off. Imagine someone made an offer KK-style (6M/1 yr). They would match but then they would be in a similar situation next year
And anything that piss the Bruins is a win
Looks like crap. Change it and thank the employee for saving them embarassment.
That is one of the dumbest reasons to fire someone. What are they planning to "unveil" next? New board advertisements?
