Will Smith wearing #2 bothers me and I can't really articulate why.
I can't remember a forward wearing #2 for any team. Very odd

It's 100% a D number.

I haven't been able to find a forward that has worn the number 2 in the last few years.I can't remember a forward wearing #2 for any team. Very odd
True story; on one of my teams, me and two other guys wanted #11. We did odds/evens and rock-paper-scissors to see who would win it and I somehow won. It's 100% a D number.
They won’t, though.
It's just a number.It's 100% a D number.
No kidding it's just a number but historically only Dmen have worn it and it was pointed out as odd which most hockey pundits would agree with. It's just a number.
Bill white, Jacques Laperriere, Bill Nyrop and the legendary Doug Harvey come to mind.Brian Leech
Doug Harvey my friend.Brian Leech

Kind of unfortunate because I would love to see Sid back in the playoffs but I also appreciate the loyalty he has towards the franchise that drafted him.Report: Sidney Crosby, Pittsburgh Penguins nearing contract extension | TSN

f*** him. He should come here to win a cup. I hate him. Unless he signs here.Kind of unfortunate because I would love to see Sid back in the playoffs but I also appreciate the loyalty he has towards the franchise that drafted him.
Their key players are under 30 though.
They basically have one season to go all in and convince drai to stay. If drai leaves Mcdavid is gone.Their key players are under 30 though.
McJesus 27
Draisaitl 29
Bouchard 25
It depends. Not everyone value money to same. Brodeur spent his entire career signing team friendly contract in NJ where the tax rate is high. Maybe McDavid will chase money. Maybe he'll sign where he wants to play. We don't really know. They basically have one season to go all in and convince drai to stay. If drai leaves Mcdavid is gone.
No way he's signing in Toronto either. It'll be a low income tax market with cap space. Vegas, Utah, Florida, Tampa, Dallas all have tons of big contracts expiring when Mcdavid is a free agent. People say endorsements blabla but he's going to get them regardless as the face of hockey.
Sidney Crosby won't finish his career close to Nova Scotia with his childhood team the Montreal Canadiens.
