I give it 24h hours before we hear Kreider complains about it and then getting traded ASAP to where ever (which is what Drury wanted to do since Kreider has a 15 teams no-trade clause).

His struggles started much before that. The truth is that this is not the first time pettersson has had a wtf kind of run. It also happened during that 2nd covid season but he was still young enough back then that you could reasonably chalk it up to being a young player.

I think he is just going to have a wildly inconsistent career and he is going to march to a unique beat. It does remind me a little bit of kovalev in a way. Not the playing style but the frustrating enigma aspect of it.
