And it's tied in Montreal.

Let's be reality, Toronto is by far the more talented team. But it's still fun to hope they lose.

Well yes. Price has been standing on his head the entire series. Only point-blank chances and deflections like what happened on the last goal have gone past him. Just like that play-in vs. Pittsburgh last year in the bubble, if Montreal somehow makes the long-shot happen, it'll be because of Price.

UPDATE: Another OT in Montreal!

That goal came from the spot Eric Staal would have been defending if he hadn’t crossed the ice to triple-team a guy for no reason.
Staal has lost his way. Unfortunate he never had a guy like Brindy to set him straight again but ultimately he's a veteran and should know better. And that miss in the 1st looms large. Pains me to say but he's absolutely cooked.

I really thought he'd show some life out of Buffalo but he doesn't look good.

Offensively, Staal's actually done pretty well this series. I don't think that Ducharme has used his skills the right way, however, and it shows when he gets caught flat-footed positionally. Overall, I'm glad our FO stayed away and went for Hakanpaa instead. He's had a couple of turnovers, but thankfully it didn't hurt us in the end vs. Nashville and he's otherwise looked good in his role.

Habs have no offense, they'll have to win on a breakaway or some lucky fluke bounce or something

Edit, I guess this belongs in the other thread.

I guess to be fair we have to realize he got traded from Minnesota, where he took back to back less than value contracts while exceeding expectations, then he was traded to dumpster fire Buffalo while his former team had a huge unexpected resurgence without him. Still though, he's a veteran and he should be better.

With game 7 happening and the league not wanting a 2 game separation between series, we not see game 2 until Wednesday

Leafs y’all, Leafs...

Something just told you that the “coincidence” of Montreal having the first fans in eons up there could come back to bite Toronto but wow....

I swear to god. I just paid $400 to change my flights to be in Raleigh in time for a 7/8pm start on Tuesday.

I f***ing hate the NHL
They already started Bruins-Piles, there's no way they make them wait until Wednesday to play again. And if they don't, there's no reason to hold game 2 back for the Canes either.

Game 7 to the Leafs: "Dread it. Run from it. Destiny arrives all the same. And now it's here. Or should I say, I am."
