That goal reminded me of so many Bruin mental lapses as time winded down in periods. If the Caps' d-men just played the body and let Holtby take care of the puck, the period ends harmlessly. But as we have seen from the Bruins, the d-men are looking at their net minder while Kreider is all alone to bury the loose puck.

Caps won game 1 on similar mental mistakes from Rangers D (and maybe a questionable hit from Bäckström)

I hope you are right but if both come back I think the winner wins it All

I agree.

I hate to say it though but I will be shocked if any of Washington, Tampa, or Chicago in basketball pull it off the 3 teams I hate are going to win their series in style.

Washington and Tampa choking harder than we did against Philly is going to really suck and I think Corey Crawford will lose Chicago the finals he sucks ass and they will cool down.:(

Crawford doesn't suck ass. :shakehead

He just had a bad couple of games.

He doesn't need to play elite being that Chicago is playing really great defense right now.

Why? Nothing the Habs have done has suggested they are even close to being able to win the cup.

Them coming back will be the result of Tampa choking hard, not the Habs playing great. They just can't score. Neither can Tampa though. I doubt they survive a 7 game series with either the Hawks or the Ducks being that these teams can score.

McDonough turned at the last minute, but that was the clearest case of charging I've ever seen.

McDonsgh just got hurt.

Actually probably good news for the Rags considering how often he's on the ice for tragic goals against.
