Need the big boys to score at even strength.

Stutzle, Tkachuk, Norris, Batherson, Giroux, somebody..
Batherson has the talent but he simply does not have the drive to do it every game.

Giroux is getting older harder to find space and create space.

Norris simply does not have the skill to be a threat five in five.

And on top of all that all our d outside chabot are simply dump in the corner guys.
Although Jensen does some great stuff at the blue line.

We have a lot of money tied up in guys that willl never take over shifts.
Not impossible to win with them. Need to play tight defence with strong goaltending and a lethal powerplay

We didn’t really play better defence with Ullmark. In fact we may have actually given up more scoring chances than we were previously
you can tell the team is trying to play better defensively around Levi and Soogard last night for sure. It gets us away from our game though. The goalies are not providing any confidence which is hard to play with

This team runs into major problems when the guys start thinking too much. We don't have the hockey IQ to start "thinking" and second guessing ourselves on the ice.

Ottawa
The team has a lot of injured players out:
Perron, Amadio, Zub, Ullmark, Forsberg.
It will be a challenge to win this game without them.

I think the team screws up when the players do not play their positions properly when playing without the puck.

That's part of the thinking too much...turn into deer int he headlights and lose their assignments on the ice.

It's one goal, they're still in it & had numerous chances, they have to cut down on mistakes.
