Gotta be impressed by this Team squeezing out some wins especially with players like Batherson and Norris
One step at a time lolThis team is "better than it was the last few seasons". I hope the team makes the playoffs and wins a playoff round or two.
All the games Gregor missed have been due to injury,Gregor was scratched a couple times. Wasn't a sure bet regular in coach's eyes(even tho I think he is). That's not the point. It isn't about HIGHMORE specifically playing top line. The point is a belleville call-up guy was playing top line.
A lot of our guys have been on offensive dry spell. Before last 2 games, the previous 12's GF output was around 2.1.
Ahh you don't get it, jade.
I am sure it was more to do with fresh legs than anything, but the offensive dry spell for few of our forwards is something to keep eye on and hopefully adjustments made(coaching strategies or otherwise).
Can I have this week's Powerball numbers please?
Whatever that meansGotta be impressed by this Team squeezing out some wins especially with players like Batherson and Norris
I agree. At his $2.75M salary, he is not going to be here next season unless he accepts much less ($1M) because he is competing with Sogaard who has a 1-way ($0.775M) next season and Merilainen who is an RFA. Ullmark is getting the bulk of the goaltender allotment at $8M so there is not much left for a backup. Given Meri's performances so far, the other 2 Gs don't stand much of a chance of being here UNLESS . . .Great outing for Forsberg, a guy who is literally fighting for his NHL career right now. He is right on the border of getting a one year, one way deal, a two way deal, or a ticket back to Europe. Today he took a step towards getting himself a one way contract from someone for next season.
Now, do I think that this is the start of a run for him? Absolutely not - history with him shows that if you play him again on Tuesday night, he will crumble. He can give you the occasional spot start, but that's it. Expecting any more from him is foolish.
Prime management material: blame others for your errors and incompetencies.Shades of Jarry
I liked Denis too. He mellowed as he got older, but not like a fine wine.I prefer Denis Potvin.
Naughty! What about we go for Jakob Chychrun?
Also seemed like he was drinking a lot of that wine while doing our play by play, all part of his charm I guess.I liked Denis too. He mellowed as he got older, but not like a fine wine.
He was just the type of D we need: fast, good puck-handler and distributor, could score, and could play big and tough. Alas he is too old now for that. Also seemed like he was drinking a lot of that wine while doing our play by play, all part of his charm I guess.
