After a second look at NJ goal meh that was pretty much an easy goal for NJ. Chabot brain and switch player for no reason . Jensen missing the hit NJ creating odd man rush. Chabot has been great lately but last 2 games his decisions are scary again

I agree, but putting him there is only half the solution - still need to work the puck to him and let him shoot! He was in prime bumper position, wide open, and the puck didn't get moved to him.

That’s one thing but when you look at him overall as a player it’s no surprise he wasn’t able to get a NHL roster spot and keep it over the years.

He’s slow, he’s small, he’s not strong and he has a hard time cycling and winning puck battles. His one asset is his shot and that’s not enough to be a NHL regular.

I liked him as a 4th line option because he can score goals in limited minutes and the gaps in his game don’t get exposed as much against weaker competition. He’s not a fit in a top 9 other than him replacing when injuries happen.

I agree we need to upgrade the top 6 with at least 1 and preferably two offensive players. Gaudette is a tweener because he has shooting skills; however, he is not a physical player, nor fast. Could be a 4th liner or 13th F. OK at $1M or less and as injury replacement/call-up. Wish we could find a young F under age 25 at lower salary than top 6 who could blossom if he played with skilled players in the top 6. If Greig continues to develop he might develop into one of those top 6 Fs. Pinto is close to getting there.

I think we should try Pinto at C on the 2nd line as a top 6. Put Greig at 3C. Put Norris at 1/2wing.
