oh baby

Great news, hopefully we'll see him in action tonight. Does anyone know if Forbort is still with the Kings? I thought he would've been sent down by now, especially now that we have Sekera...

Maybe they'll be satisfied witha big win over the ducks and takeit easy on us...here's hoping for a big win!!!

Hey guys, looking forward to the game tonight. Either this is a trap game for the Kings, or we get crushed by y'all.

Ottawa is 1-14 all-time at the Staples Center.

and here we give eastern teams flack for not watching kings games.
I am not at all familiar with Pageau, Borowiecki or Hammond (other than last nights game) though
Lots of familiar names from juniors on their roster. They are a quick young and quick team.

Pageau is our little french spark plug and resident Habs killer. He's about 5'6 but plays like he's 6'5. He's been in the AHL due to a two-way contract but he has has deserved to be on the team all year. We waived Greening and now he's finally become a mainstay.

Borowiecki.. we call him Borocop. He's been our AHL captain, heart and soul guy, bottom pairing D. He fought Beauchemin last night when he was giving Ryan crap. He's fighting (literally) to stay in the lineup on the bottom pairing D rotation. Look for the same tonight.

Hammond is a 27 year old career AHL'er. 4th career start tonight. He's played solid but doesn't control rebounds. You'll score on second chances if the Sens don't clear the net. He has not looked good in the A all year, and he doesn't seem to be a part of the Sens' plans going forward. He's playing out of necessity due to our two injured goalies, but has held his own so far.

Enjoy the game!

I don't care who watches the Kings. ;)

Gaborik excels at cleaning up garbage. I will watch for that tonight.
Thanks for the breakdown

Even though our teams don;t play a ton, I always remember high scoring fight filled games against the Sens.

Thanks for the updates.

Very impressed with the Senators after watching last night's game, but I know how up and down they have been all season. I didn't know about Greening being waived, but I didn't include him anyway (sure wish the NHL would update their roster pages timely).

Anyway, even a Sens fan has to admit that Borocop got away with one last night; he most definitely should have got an instigation minor added to that fighting major; I was kind of blown away how Ryan just backed out of the picture so that Borowiecki could launch himself onto Beauchemin, and let's face it, Beauchamin wasn't just "giving Ryan crap," Ryan had slashed Beauchemin to start it all. And I'm not a Ducks fan, just telling you how I saw it play out.

Man, that Deadmarsh on this current Kings team. Crazy that's it's been a decade since he played. For a guy that played a couple fewer games in a Kings jersey than Kevin Todd and Russ Courtnall, and only a few more than Bob Corkum and Jeff Giuliano, he left a mark.

I could see if the Kings were higher in the standings, maybe they overlook Ottawa, after playing Detroit, and before a game against the Ducks. With where they are though, there's no reason to.

THIS is what makes me proud to wear my Deadmarsh jersey to games. Funny thing about last nights game, Heyward said he wouldn't give the Ottawa goalie a star for the game yet NHL.com gave him the first star of the night. What an idiot.

Nothing Hayward does surprises me anymore. Especially after accusing Seabrook of faking an injury when a Ducks player drilled him and he was visibly shaken up.

If you really want a chuckle, A Ducks fan started a thread on the main board about a week ago about how it's a matter of time until Hayward is hired as a head coach :laugh::laugh:

Nice GDT. Go easy on us tonight Kings! We know how IMPOSSIBLE it is to get a win in your building!

I like that Season result timeline thing in your GDT, pretty sick. Cheers to a good game.
