Chabot has this weird MO where he takes a pass, and has this little routine already planned.
He takes a pass from the wall, takes a two-stride dipsy doodle skate on the line, and then reverses it back with a molasses slow pass to whoever gave it to him. And then he goes back to where he was standing originally and everyone is exactly back where they started.
There's no thinking and he just does it automatically. He's not reacting to lanes or anything he sees. He never even considers shooting it. He never skates off the line to apply any pressure on the defenders.
It's just take it, do nothing, and then send it back to where it was.
It has no impact on the play, it's just this pointless little routine that kills 3 seconds. He does it like 10 times a game.
