Like every team.It all depends on our goaltenders. If they make the saves we will have a strong series. If they don't, we likely won't.

The sens play 4 games at home including games against Chicago and Philly. Also carolina will be locked into a spot on the road in the last game of the season. Montreal is 3 points back and the sens have the tie breaker. They would have to run the table and Ottawa would have to only get 4 points. Not very likely.Same with MTL and us
I think we're going to play our "full" roster on Friday, and then rest as many players as possible against Flyers and Hawks. We'll play our "full" roster against the Canes to ensure they're not rusty going into playoffs. The sens play 4 games at home including games against Chicago and Philly. And if this improbable series of events does happen I'd rather play Washington than Tampa. So it doesn't really matter.

For a natural disasterIf the Habs pass us and face the Leafs. Who the hell do you cheer for?
Their fans are degenerates. Drink bad water. Etc.But the YzErPlAn was meant to be a success.
Couldn’t have happened to a nicer fanbase.

I thought we were pretty bad through two periods, but played well in the third. Special teams made it seem much closer than it actually was, we were outshot 21-14 through two periods 5v5 and our chanced 19-7.
Clb was playing well though, credit where it's due, they were on top of us all over the ice never giving up an inch, outside of the PP we created next to nothing for two periods.
Zetterlund finally getting one was a bright spot in an otherwise forgettable effort.
Washington is a way better team than Toronto. They are massive and their compete level is off the roof. Id rather play the leafs 10 out of 10. Toronto isnt a great team. They rely on timely scoring and goaltending. Their underlying numbers are weak and they are choke artists who will have the weight of the world on them from a pressure perspective. You are right
Its wishful thinking but I feel like Washington will be more beatable than any of TO,FLO,TAM
I see us losing to Tampa in 1st round unfortunately and MTL beating Washington
They are a team possessed right now and I just hope they are hitting their peak and their play will go south in the PO
This is nothing like 2008 the sens just won 3 in a row and have one of the best records since November in the league and are a top 5 team since the 4 nations break. We need a few 60 minute efforts going into the post-season.
I tend to believe that you can't suddenly turn a switch and play playoff hockey if you aren't already playing to a high standard.
I remember the 2008 Senators who backed into the playoffs and then backed right out of the playoffs.

I think they can play better, you arent wrong. Its going to be interesting to see how they look after clinching. I think it was probably very mentally draining, they tried to have a game 7 mentality every game for 30+ in a row and that can be hard. Maybe they play a little looser with less pressure and that level of simplification can help their game. Or it could go the other way, anyways I am happy they have 4 games here to rest injured players. Appreciate the accomplishment and start revving up for playoffs.I just want to see a 60 minute effort.
Like I said, I don't necessarily think you can flick a switch.
I'm liking how our goaltending is playing, but I still think we are giving up too many good scoring opportunities. Our PP is pretty cold also.
I am sure. Don't doubt my due diligence! Are you sure it’s not the reverse

Personal opinion but I think Washington play will go down since Ovie broke the recordWashington is a way better team than Toronto. They are massive and their compete level is off the roof. Maybe I read it wrong. Detroit tripped them in shots but Montreal tripled them in xG?I am sure. Don't doubt my due diligence!
I figured my answer would be correct no matter what he did!Was I suppose to like what he just did there
My numbers were taken with about 8 minutes left in the game and the Habs were winning 2 to 1 but Detroit had been dominating especially in the 1st period.Maybe I read it wrong. Detroit tripped them in shots but Montreal tripled them in xG?
For all we know, resting the players playing through injury will help the team play better than they have of late.I'd love to see the Sens win out or get 3 wins out of the remaining 4 to get to 45 wins
They will likely rest a couple guys that need it and Brady I expect remains out for at least 2 more.
It's just textbook example of what we've been doing lately, albeit we take our foot off the gas after getting a lead in 2nd.I thought we were pretty bad through two periods, but played well in the third.
