Is "The Last of Us" any good?

Lots of boring parts but still enough going on for me to have watched season 1. Did a lot of FFing though. New series Landman on Paramount is excellent. Not really surprising as everything Taylor Sheridan touches seems to turn to gold.

Is "The Last of Us" any good?

I refuse to play the second game or watch the show. Not for the typical reasons, I don't even know the plot of the second game or TV show (I have a rough idea).

Season 4 and 5 of Arrested Development taught me that sometimes with art and media, even something like a TV show or a video game, it's just as much about time and place as it is about the art. There is such a thing as leaving something alone and respecting the experience that the audience had with the original piece of media.

There never needed to be a second The Last Of Us with the same characters. It was a disservice to the first game. It is a bit silly to view it this way because it was invented to be a media property I get that.

Story of the first game is overrated.

The show is very good probably the best drama HBO is doing right now.

Arrested development 4 and 5 unfortunately just wasn’t very good/funny.
