It makes sense if you believe, as our coaching staff seems to think, that Werenski is a great PP QB. They'd sooner take anyone else off than him.

Vronk already looks decent in the faceoff circle. Not sure having 1 line going is going to work all game. Thanks Korpi for the goals but this team needs to play much better to win. Elvis already keeping us in it.

Not as long as it is clearly Laine's fault.

The Laine - Fantilli - Danforth unit has already had more chances around the net than Laine and Fantilli did in the preceding two games. Danforth is what they need, though I'm not sure if anyone is good enough to carry Laine.

The 4th line also had good chances in that period. It was just the Gaudreau - Jenner - Johnson that didn't get any good looks.

Yeah, I love Danforth and he's the kind of player to pair with Laine. We need Laine ready to shoot, Danforth goes to corners and digs the wins, this allows Laine to shoot. Everyone gets used to their strengths, that's how you get best results

Fantilli seems fine to me, maybe a bit frustrated not getting points. I think he’d be better suited on the top line or with KJ.
