I see one team outplaying the other.

One team won a cup a couple seasons ago. The other is in the middle of a losing streak, during an incredibly turbulent season.

The sens aren't as bad as they're showing right now. They aren't the avalanche. But give them time to figure things out

As a long suffering Sens fan I have had to learn to draw sports pleasure elsewhere. The Sabres spanking the Leafs badly tonight (9-3 right now) is a very strong mental tonic. It also makes watching TSN and SN more sufferable if not pleasurably entertaining for a few days. The national media is either planning the Leafs parade route or freaking the hell out... zero middle ground there!

It's pretty disheartening to watch other teams play good spirited hockey, night in and night out... Only to tune into the Sens to watch Kubalik, Hamonic, Brännström, Korpisalo/Forsberg and a bunch of best friends that got paid go for casual Sunday skates.
