today is june 24. the draft is less than a week away

Wow... Lockout-year schedule is messing with me. I'm definitely used to the big gap between the cup being awarded and the Draft, this is throwing me off guard.

Damn, Jakub Klepis is pretty damn appealing. Mind you I have the upper edge. Robin Lehner and Nikita Filatov are on the facebook guest list. They haven't responded, BUT THEY ARE THERE.

Yep, I streamed a good 95% of Sens games this year (Indonesian TV networks aren't exactly falling over themselves to get TSN or CBC to attract that coveted 0.00001% Hockey Fan market over here, haha ... I do what I have to do to watch my hockey) Feeds were for the most part pretty ok. It got choppy at times, but I got used to it by about game 10 or so.

I SPEND A MILLION RUPIAH PER MONTH FOR THAT SPEED... A MILLION!!!


... which is about $100/mo. It's ridiculous. If you live in Jakarta, you can get ~5mbps, but I'm about an hour outside of JK, which means I get to pay 2x as much as I did in Canada for 1/30th the speed.

Fast internet isn't a priority here, because for the most part, the average Indonesian wouldn't be able to afford it. Indonesian websites look like Geocities web pages circa 2001, because people on 0.22mbps connections still need to use the internet, and "modern" webpage design would make it impossible to load the pages with the average bandwidth here.

And, because fast internet isn't seen as essential, the government doesn't subsidize it. They subsidize gas here (I can fill my car up from empty-to-full for about $16), and phone plans (texts cost about $0.0085 to send, I put $10/month on my pay-as-you-go, and I never run out of minutes regardless of how much I use my phone/ how many texts I send). And if the government doesn't subsidize something here, it becomes crazy-expensive.

It is a poor system.

Stone, Silfverberg & Zibanejad together couldn't take Bingo past the first round this yr. What Bingo lacked was scoring & that's what those two were suppose to be able to do especially in the AHL. Silfverberg did okay leading Bingo in scoring & Lawson played fairly well. However, if Lehner was there I assume he would have carried them to the finals again, he would have been the difference because he exudes confidence to the players around him. Just my opinion.

Well, considering Silfverberg and Zibanejad never played in the AHL playoffs, I'm not sure how your argument is valid. Then you contradict yourself, saying that what Bingo lacked was scoring, then saying that if Bingo had Lehner they would have made it to the finals. Was he going to score goals for them or something?
