Considering the fact that this is how Pacioretty played last playoffs, throughout lots of this year, and at the Olympics, it may just be that he doesn't have that next gear that makes certain players effective in the playoffs. There's been no indication from the organization on whether or not Pacioretty had a concussion and posters shouldn't be treating it as if they have. Even looking at their track record, the Habs have been very up front when reporting concussions.

There's no doubt that Pacioretty should perform better, he's been brutal. No excuses, the Habs can't hitch their entire offense on whether or not Pacioretty is scoring goals - someone else needs to step up.

We've spent the last two years or so focusing on what Davey needs.
Time to focus on what MP needs to take it to a new level in the Post Season.
It's frustrating knowing this with absolutely no say on how he gets deployed.

Bottom line, in order to finish the series, we need a lot more from Pacioretty and Galchenyuk, both were not very good last game. Pacioretty is playing scared much like last year, needs to use his size and get his hands dirty a bit.
