Colorado refuse to invest along term 8M$ for Norris and Ottawa would probably refuse to retain, better taking a rental for now and go with the Ritchie flow for the next 10 years.

I’m wondering what either side would need to add to make a Josh Norris for Arturri Lehkonen trade work. Colorado needs a 2C and Norris is capable (his shoulder issues are behind him now). Ottawa needs more players like Lehkonen who play similar to Brady. How would this trade work?
No way that Colorado is parting with Lehky. Nice try.

I hate the Avs and you know that, but from a hockey fan standpoint I would love to see Brady in Colorado
Brady is what the Avs need. Not a center but he seems to play in front of the net all the time. He'd replace the grit and toughness that Kadri provided.

Brady is what every team needs, no?

Nichushkin, when in the lineup, provides the dominant net front presence of Tkachuk and is a proven playoff beast.

In pure fit, the Avs need a 2C more than anything else. That 2C has to be a strong skater.

Lehky isn’t available so there’s no reasonable deal to be made, the offer would have to be something that I’m willing to bet no smart team would make.
