Good win in an exciting game. They finished the game with 13 skaters…Kelly did not return after he was involved in the scrum at the end of the 2nd, and they moved Horner into his spot. They looked tired but pulled it out.

Wow- we pulled out 2 impressive wins this weekend. Player thoughts:
- Pinelli is on fire. He is skating and stick-handling like there's no tomorrow, which for him, and for us, there likely is not together
- Whitehead has upped his game a lot. He is skating really fast and actually handling the puck now. He may actually be a good number 1 or 2 centre next year
- Houben played really well on Fri. He's crappy on draws but his focus is on cranking people on the boards and he succeeds. Today he was in the warmup but I didn't see him after.
So, a good weekend. I hope we don't overtake NB but I like the boys are showing spirit and fight.

It was every bit of that, but the referees were a bit at sea. Bringing out the iPad to review a call that was never made ... twice. On the first one, the linesman reported the high stick. On the second, there was no call at all, then a review for a Major, then it was a Minor for Boarding? It seemed to me that the no call was right.

I often call out Pinelli for dumbass penalties, so it's only fair that I do the same for the Windsor Captain, Greentree. Wonderful hockey player, but starting a ruckus after the final whistle over Gerrior pushing the puck 5 feet into an empty net? That's just dumbass. Then Nesbitt goes over to the sticks laying on the ice, finds Gerrior's, and stomps on it to break it. Nothing but class there. Boyd should send Nesbitt a bill for the stick.
