I don't mind this deal. Amadio can likely sub for Joseph and be a fantastic utility guy but 2.6M is a lot for a bottom 6 dude, basically a replacement player.
The 3-year deal is also a little ?. These types of players are like service employees (to use a tenuous analogy) you know they won't be around long so just sign Amadia to...one year at 2.6 or 2.0?
Then replace with another dude next year. Paying for anything other than elite talent is a fool's game GMs should never engage in.

It's really not. He's a good third liner, 2.6 mil is about what they go for.

We really just love to argue and complain about everything around here. Yeesh. This is a good signing, cost effective third line guy that can play second line fill in. 2.6 x 3. Overpaid? Noone but, sens fans here complaining, Vegas fans saying we got a good deal and will be missed.
